🗓️ Weekly Rundown🗓️
1st Bible study since the adventure overseas. Was sick, saw Boso’s crib, and learned about Jesus. There are hecka firefighters in the group now.
Grinding big cup to spike to big cup to spike, earth turn spike — kendama terms for a cool trick.
Going to start making my kendama clips POV. Be ready.
Went to the company dinner in Cleveland. I ordered the cheapest thing on the menu (pierogies for $18) and no beers, with intent to get Chipotle after because who tf is gonna drop $35 on a tiny meal and $15 on a lager beer, to still be hungry afterwards. That’s crazy when the opportunity cost is 5 Chipotle bowls. Turns out the company paid for it, so I cooked myself. #CantWinEmAll. Next time I will be being “that guy” and order the most expensive thing on the menu to even it out.
Didn’t win the stein-holding contest, but will be adding iso holds to my shoulder days, and I’ll be ready for Oktoberfest.
The team at w*rk has cool people. I wonder if ranking them is against compliance?
Spent Friday night and Saturday in Streetsboro and saw Schreck, Boobie, and their 2 year old golden retriever, Ollie.
Ollie is goated but not as fast as Max, so wrestling him was no match for my extensive dog wrestling experience and superior technique. #AlphaDog
Was straight fire hitting arms and shoulders with OG gym bro.
Officially started a list of people I will never play Fortnite with.
Saw my favorite lax coach at church and have a firm agreement to play Xbox 360 Black Ops 2 Zombies to take down the Origins Easter egg in the near future.
I think I just got a pen pal… no, 2...I think I got 2 new pen pals.
Additionally, I got the address of my family from Morocco. Any ideas on what I should mail them?
225 moved fast and 185 is back to reps. Note: Colossal has powerlifting benches and bars that are very optimal, and my numbers slightly decrease if not on the
CadillacLexus of benches. Ghetto gangster rap was a large catalyst. Hoping to be back to my former glory by the end of February.Learned some cool stuff at w*rk. Would love to talk about it, but they who shall not be named would get upset.
Reading books in Spanish to learn Spanish is proving harder than expected, so the strategy is shifting. I’m memorizing a handful of words a day, then will start kids’ books after building a small base. Why tf are ese and este (that and this) so hard to keep straight?!
Might see if my OBA is updated. If not, might take advantage and plow this weekend. #MrPlow
AirPods die every day between 1–1:30 pm, creating a dull 30 minutes while they charge. Might need to find a pair of wired earbuds that can’t die.
Closing in on Fight Club and Atomic Habits, but still a very healthy chunk left in Harry Potter 3.
🦬High Low Buffalo🦬
High:
Preacher curls went crazy, was like being in Ping. Ego lifting heavy weight with Robbery Part 3 blaring, and Matt throwing some help for a few assisted reps at the end to empty the tank. All that was missing was a few dropsets and yapping to people I know that walk by for 30 minutes between sets.
Low:
I feel my swag fleeting. Had to say no to skiing on a random Wednesday because of w*rk. I’m just existing at this point; every day is the same.
Buffalo:
I learned older Toyotas and Hondas run much cheaper than expected, and old trucks hold value well (could be foreshadowing).
🎵Song of the Week🎵
What You Saying by Lil Uzi Vert
This week is the opposite of last week music wise: no variety, straight What You Saying on repeat.
Top gym song: Robbery Part 3 by Tee Grizzley
It’s so back, fire lock in song, only behind Dreams and Nightmares. Expect to see all the ghetto drill classics back in rotation, not for casual listening.
Honorable mentions for the week:
Man on the Moon by Phillip Phillips
Coco Butter Kisses by Chance the Rapper
I’d Be Lying by Chris Cagle
Respond this week with your High, Low, Buffalo, Song of the Week, and a recommendation of what to mail my Moroccan family for a fabulous prize that’s cooler than a thank-you email but not as cool as a free plane ticket to Colorado.
Note: If you already have a weekly update and I’m subscribed, just send your recommendation of what to mail my family from Morocco to qualify for the prize.
Till next time,
VB
