Will not be announcing the prize as the weather slowed delivery.

🗓️ Weekly Rundown🗓️

  • The meeting on Wednesday was 8am–5pm and so much yapping. Now looking back, I don’t remember a thing they said besides how much money some people made. #BoringAF I just wanted to playoutside.

  • Everyone came into Cbus for the meeting, so I saw people from Indiana and Cleveland, etc., and I also got to meet new people. Some existing people shifted around on my favorite coworker rankings. We do have a clear #1, but there’s a battle for 4–5. If only they knew. If only I could reveal the rankings.

  • Finished Harry Potter 3, ending was gnarly

  • Finished Genesis, on to Exodus. Very excited, as I foresee the plagues story taking a spot in the top 3, definitely top 5. Will have a more updated list next week.

  • Took the Honda back to the hood house and got stuck. No shovel to dig out a spot. Created strong headwinds and sent me to finish out the week at the vacation home, but not before I saw Scrape.

  • After work, skiing and swinging took a day off as I got a call from OSauer, and then I saw his new crib.

  • Ran up to the fishing expo and was surprised they didn’t have a handheld auger. That put a damper on my ice fishing dreams later that day.Had my rod and reel ready to catch some hawgs, but without a hole drilled, I just played on the frozen lake. Ice was very thick.

  • Dug a fat hole in the side of a snow pile in PHSC’s parking lot and created a baller igloo. We left halfway through the build to refuel, and when we got back, a cop was sitting right by it. Certain he was going to tell us it was a safety risk of some sort, we were happily surprised he never got out of his car and was just trying to find some speeders.

  • The finished igloo was spacious enough to easily sleep 3 and equipped with a shelf for your speaker and/or a place to put a drink. Word from the wise: do not fart in an igloo, it doesn’t air out.

  • I am learning postcards are low cost, high impact, as they are greatly appreciated. I just need to travel more to be able to send more out.

  • My stay at the vacation home, enjoying home-cooked meals I didn’t have to make, is coming to an end as I shoveled out a spot to park at the hood house.

  • Huge moves at the j*b for me

  • Silver makes no sense. How can demand be so high, global mints are defaulting on delivering the physical asset, yet prices can crash? That’s against the laws of supply and demand.

  • Started Harry Potter 4. Cleveland coworker said it was his favorite book of the series, so high hopes. Especially after the first chapter started with a bang.

  • Monday meetings are so awkward when we do a weekend recap. Everyone does some adult thing like fixing their washer, taking the dog to the vet, or lying low, and I always get weird looks when I say I made a snow fort, skied the park, or played on the swings. Might just reply “laid low” or make up lies for fun, like “I made homemade bread this weekend.”

  • Bench is coming back—hit 225 for 3. Hopefully back to former glory by the end of February.

  • Spanish was rough this week. Only hitting it every other day. Being tired makes me not use my limited evening time to the fullest. Might have to wake up even earlier to squeeze it in the AM, but that would push wake up to way early.

High:

Snow fort. Was massive and a gift to the community. It’s at the high school, so others discovering it and playing in it is inevitable. I just hope no one hotboxes it.

Low:

Precious metals are falling

Buffalo:

In the same park as the lake, there was a ramp built on a sledding hill. There was a line of dirt, not snow, not ice, but raw dirt from so many people hitting the ramp.

🎵Song of the Week🎵

Circus by Britney Spears

Honorable Mentions:

  • What Do You Think About That by Montgomery Gentry

  • What, Me Worry? by Portugal. The Man

  • Sail Away by lovelytheband

  • Shake Me Down by Cage the Elephant

Till next time,
