🗓️ Weekly Rundown🗓️
"Something weird happened to your food" isn't the ideal thing to hear from your waiter… we came in at the restaurant open waiting for the ferry and weren't served till an hour later because of the "something weird" — no clue what it was
Saw nothing but clouds from the top of Hurricane Ridge — underwhelming, but sure on a clear day would be stunning
Saw Olympic tidepools and beach — so beautiful
I loved seeing the starfish and sea anemone, but some Austrian lady wasn't happy I was touching the anemone, despite using the proper 2 finger touching technique the Newport Aquarium teaches
Camping on the beach with swimming and eating the best hotdog Ive ever eaten to date — some jalapeño dog
Poor planning left 3 sleeping pads and 4 sleeping bags for 5 people — I slept on a picnic table while Russell got the car and Matt, Nick, and Alexis in the tent with Nick and Alexis on the ground
After we went straight to the airport — we reeked of campfire
Alexis traded the book she finished at a take-a-book-leave-a-book at the airport, resulting in I am now reading The Lawman's Deadly Bargain by Lena Diaz as it was picked over The Book of Mormon
Nick didn't have room in his bag so he wore his helmet around the airport… everyone was so nice to us and we took a photo with the pilot
The pilot was a GOAT but had a mystery drink that looked like a Coke with a lime in a Solo cup — between him being almost too excited to talk to us and the first thing he told us being to go to a bar in Washington and find the lady with large hoop earrings and say "Captain Bill sent us," made me suspect it may have had something stronger than a Coke
5-hour plane SEA to CLT, then 1 hour CLT to CHS, then booked it to the Atlantic Ocean before finally making it to bed in the beach house - you will never guess the most played song on the flight #Nirvana
Beach day — building pyramids in sand, gymnastics, swimming, etc. were all cool but the high was definitely flying a kite on the beach

Leaving Dafoe poses in WA we got more creative poses — can be seen on Instagram
Faith's graduation + grad party were full of cute outfit days, Just Dance, and embarrassing Faith in front of her friends
Surprise visit from Witch Dr. Ranky
Drove from SC to OH
Motion with the potential j*b — could I be in Montana with them in 2 weeks? We shall see - odds are low but not 0
Till then, back to cutting grass
Finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Harry Potter was a very good book series, but I liked the first 4 more — they were more mystery, and at the end Dumbledore would piece it all together - was epic. 5, 6, and most of 7 until the end was plot and not as good in my opinion.
Ran 24 miles this week with 15 from the long run — to see it on STRAVA CLICK HERE
WBOTW: The Hertwigs — got all the fam to come down and it was lit to see them and they put on a good grad party

The last day in WA was very memorable and fun with Olympic, the beach, etc.
Low:
The post-trip comedown
Buffalo:
Swam in both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans within 24 hours — camped on the beach in WA then flew to SC and booked it to the beach, and when you take into account the 3-hour time change — in less than 24 hours we were in both oceans. Might be the buffalo of the year.

No songs have experienced a decline — I casually listen to Rape Me and sing it bar for bar as it makes me think I'm on top of a mountain I scrambled up about to slide down. I just hope no clients hear me singing along.
Scooby Doo makes me think I'm passing around a Red Bull driving up a mountain — both songs leave you in a better mood than they find you in - every time.
