Teams meetings with friends are back — normal phone calls too
The sky was pretty this week — good clouds and sunsets
New meta: run to the slackline then run home — you get to slackline and 4 miles — slacklining is so hard
Played cards and went to the horse track to watch horse racing with Ms. Campbell
Has anyone asked you how many owls in a day you'd have to see before something's weird? What about turtles in people's yards?
I saw 3 turtles in people's yards this week and none were very close to an ideal turtle habitat so it's starting to get weird
Just set plans to go to Toronto this weekend to see the World Cup from a Toronto bar and Elove is trying to have us stay at a drug dealer's house he met last year

Got my second library card — Kate and I went around town looking for the 2nd Harry Potter book for her and Catcher in the Rye that wasn't old and falling apart for me
Got CMH to DEN and back - will meet nick out there and
We ended up both getting Columbus City library cards — mine has a cat and is Columbus Crew themed — people sleep on the library, it's actually a cool place
Got caught up on Bible in a Year plan, ran, and decided to not post reels every day — I'll stick to scrolling them

Ran 20 miles with no long run
On Friday my hip started hurting and I was waddling with a limp. I skipped the long run, but I was ok falling short of the 25-mile week goal by 5 miles, given the hip pain
I'm going to have to start doing hip strengthening exercises and stretches
WBOTW: CEO Jeff — he is pitching to the board to make a position where I will be mentored by him and work in his 360 program until someone retires and I take over their book. We'll see what happens
Honorable WBOTW mention: the weather — the weather app always says it's going to rain while I cut grass but then rain never comes, and when it does it's at night or a day I'm not cutting, despite the weather app saying it's going to pour every time I cut grass — the app sucks

When you are focused/interested/curious your blink rate decreases — if you're telling a story you can see if the person you're telling it to blinks less, if yes, your story is probably good
I am spreading myself too thin between cutting grass, calling/traveling/playing with friends, running, work, and weekly updates — but I probably won't do anything about it until the lack of sleep is clearly too much, because I'm not sure what I would give up
Strait of Hormuz
I don't think the closure of the strait should have raised our gas prices — 5% of our oil comes from there yet gas went from $2.79 to $4.39?
We produce plenty of oil, especially after we now have Venezuela — but if we have so much, we can sell it to places where the strait closure does affect them, at an obscene price to make a ton of money. #Arbitrage
We sell so much it shrinks our own supply — that would explain the gas jump.
The price raise in America wasn't a shortage of supply like the news says, but an increase in demand for US oil from other countries. And what will the US do, say no to selling oil at an insane price to make a ton of money? #InsightFromAnOilTrader
