Merry Christmas! Returned to the States with six new stamps in the passport and excited to see Mama. I plan on releasing a 4Q26 or full-year recap in earnings or 10-K style, discussing what happened this quarter/year and guidance and expectations for the next. Stay tuned. Don’t forget to respond with updates of your own.
🗓️ Weekly Rundown🗓️
Ate local Moroccan foods. The top two were couscous with veggies and beef, and a chicken that left your hands yellow from all the seasonings.
Being in their house reminded me of Christmas at Grandma Bevs
Morocco won the Arab Cup, and we went into the city with flags, screaming, and hanging out the windows in a mob of people celebrating the win, much like Philly does when they win the Super Bowl.
A car hit us. Had to get out of the car and chase the other driver down.
Went to the market or whatever they call the massive maze of streets with vendors and negotiated for postcards, spices, and other Moroccan essentials to fit in my bag on the way home.
Lost weight and got abs back from only eating cheese and bread in Europe, but the Moroccans wouldn’t take “we’re full” for an answer, so the abs have faded away.
Cards with the Moroccans were fun. I still don’t understand their card games. It’s hard enough explaining it in English when it’s both your first language. They had never seen a riffle shuffle or bridge and thought it was an impressive trick.
Arabic vocabulary is expanding
Have you seen the “Are you in or are you out” reels? I felt like I was in one when a Moroccan military captain said at 1 a.m. that he was going on an adventure and asked if we were in or out. We were in. We ended up in a hookah lounge with some of the best tea I’ve had.
Saw cool Morocco stuff, like the mosque.
When leaving, they made it very clear we now have family in Morocco. They are amazing, most welcoming people I’ve ever met. Glad some spoke English and could translate.
Moroccans are very funny; some jokes are universal across cultures.
It’s so fun to be a minority, people just want a photo with you because you’re white.
Keep checking the Danone Maroc Instagram. They should have us posted any day now.
The hostel was loki a gay one. On the side of it and across the street was a gay store with weird stuff in the window you wouldn’t want a kid to see. #Haram
Blake won our rummy marathon, 3-2, with each game to 1,500. The first four games were all blowouts. The final rubber match ended 1,545–1,550 in favor of Blake after hours and hours of gameplay.
Walking through CMH and BOS airports and seeing only English feels good. Glad to be in a country where I can read signs and menus. Every other country’s airport we were in had three languages on every sign, but the US clearly uses the “know English or get bent” method.
Celebrated being home with scramblers with AT, CTB3, and OSauer. Very nice to see AT.
In the championship for fantasy football, I was playing against Puca and CMC, who put up 46.5 and 32.6 points respectively, while my elite QB, Jaxon Fart, scored a disappointing 0.02. Seth has to be liking his odds to win the chip this year.
Saw Team Addicts at Skidmark’s house. I am not goated at Switch Mario Kart. #OGWii4Life

🦬High Low Buffalo🦬
High:
Celebrating Morocco winning the Arab Cup.
Low:
The Moroccan cigarettes I brought back don’t have a Moroccan tag or sign they’re Moroccan, so they look like normal cigarettes. Sorry, Mike (245).
Buffalo:
The terminal at BOS my flight departed from was the same one that Flight 11 left from on 9/11 when it hit the North Tower.
